Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Since 1860, Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology has formed more than 2,000 priests for sacramental and pastoral ministry in parishes throughout New Jersey, neighboring states and other lands. Continuing this traditional mission today, the Seminary also prepares lay men and women for active ministry providing outreach and support services in many areas of parish and family life.
Candidates for the priesthood and lay ministry benefit from a rich theological foundation strongly rooted in Church teachings. Presented by an exceptionally talented and dedicated faculty of theologians, graduate level programs of study are enhanced through a collaborative approach to instruction and formation that prepares all candidates to better serve the Church and their faith communities.
While preparing for lives of service to the Church, all seminarians and lay students are sustained by the generous support of Seminary friends and benefactors. Individual support helps all candidates fulfill their calling to become Dispensatores Mysteriorum Dei (Stewards of the Mysteries of God).
Indeed, Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology is blessed yearly to receive the necessary financial resources for continued funding and development of its priestly formation and lay ministry programs of study. The great majority of annual gifts received are from alumni and friends who share a commitment to strengthen the Body of Christ.
Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology invites you to be a steward of its mission. Your prayers and gift support enables the Seminary to fulfill Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations.
The Darlington Annual Fund
Taking its name from the Seminary’s previous location in Mahwah, New Jersey, the Darlington Annual Fund was created to assist the Seminary in financing general needs as they arise during the course of the year. Since gifts to the Darlington Annual Fund are for current use, they must be replenished annually.
Gifts to the Darlington Annual Fund are unrestricted, meaning that at the discretion of the Rector/Dean, they can be applied where most urgently needed.
